We offer five services, and the right first one is whichever fixes the most expensive weekly problem in your business. If you aren't sure what that is, start with the workflow audit; if you already know that lost customer details are the issue, go straight to CRM setup. The sections below explain each service in a sentence or two, who it suits, and the sign that it should come first.
-
Workflow audit and digital plan
We trace how a job or appointment moves through your business today and write down, in order, what to change first.
-
Customer records and CRM setup
One shared place for every customer, quote and job, cleaned up and imported from the notebooks and spreadsheets you have now.
-
Booking and scheduling for your customers
Let customers choose a slot that respects your travel time, staff hours and the way Burnaby buildings actually work.
-
Follow-up and admin automation
Reminders, quote follow-ups, review requests and payment nudges that go out on time without anyone remembering.
-
Staff training and adoption
Short, hands-on training and simple house rules so the new system is still being used six months from now.
Workflow audit and digital plan
Choose this first if you know things are messy but can't say exactly where. We sit with you and your staff, follow a few real jobs or appointments from first contact to payment, and write down every hand-off, double entry and point where something gets forgotten.
The result is a staged plan of three to six changes in order, each with the time it will take, the type of tool involved and the rough monthly software cost. It suits businesses with two or more people sharing the admin. Details are on the workflow audit page.
Customer records and CRM setup
Choose this first if customer details live in several places that disagree. A CRM here simply means one shared customer list with contact details, job or visit history, quotes and notes that everyone on the team can see.
We pick a tool that fits your size, clean and import the data you already have, set up the fields you will really use and remove the ones you won't. It suits any business that sends quotes or sees repeat customers. Read more on CRM setup.
Booking and scheduling for your customers
Choose this first if the phone is the only way to get an appointment. Many Burnaby customers, particularly in the tower neighbourhoods, would rather pick a time slot at 10 p.m. than leave a voicemail at noon.
We set up self-serve booking with rules that protect your day: travel buffers between Brentwood and Edmonds, limits on job types, deposits where they make sense, and questions about parking and building access. Clinics, studios and service trades benefit most. See customer booking.
Follow-up and admin automation
Choose this when your records are in one place and the problem is consistency. Reminders, quote follow-ups, review requests and overdue-payment notes all depend on someone remembering. Automation removes the remembering.
We write the messages with you, set the timing, add the consent and opt-out handling that Canadian anti-spam rules expect, and test every sequence before it goes live. Details are on the automation page.
Staff training and adoption
Add this to any of the above if your team has resisted new tools before. Most failed system projects fail at adoption, not at setup. Staff go back to the notebook because it is faster on day one.
We run short, practical sessions on the tasks each person does daily, write one-page house rules, and check usage a few weeks after launch. It matters most for teams of four or more. See staff training and adoption.
A quick way to decide
Answer three questions and the starting point usually becomes obvious.
| If this is true… | Start with |
|---|---|
| You can't describe your own process clearly | Workflow audit |
| You've lost a customer because nobody could find their details | CRM setup |
| More than a third of your admin time is spent arranging appointments | Customer booking |
| Your records are tidy but quotes and reminders still slip | Automation |
| You tried a tool before and the team stopped using it | Training and adoption |
Prices for ongoing work are on our pricing page, and the FAQ covers contracts and data ownership. For the thinking behind our order of work, read the guide on choosing a CRM for a small business. If you'd like to talk it through, call, text or email.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy just one service?
Yes. Many clients start with only the workflow audit or only CRM setup. We would rather do one change properly than five changes nobody uses.
What order do you usually recommend?
Records first, then booking, then automation, with training throughout. Automation built on messy customer data simply sends the wrong message faster.
Do you also run ads or SEO?
This site focuses on the systems behind the business. Our group also runs marketing for trades and local businesses through Trades.Agency, and we can coordinate the two so new enquiries land in the system we built.
Do you install equipment or do on-site technical work?
No. We are a marketing and business consulting service. We configure software accounts and train people; we never install, repair or service anything.
